Types of Musical Groups

     A Jazz Music Ensemble is a group of three or more musicians who perform jazz music. The instruments in this ensemble typically include wind instruments (one or more saxophones, trumpets, etc.) one or two chordal "comping" instruments (electric guitar, piano, organ), a bass instrument (electric or double bass), and a drummer or percussionist.
