FRIENDS OF THE APOL

The Friends Of The APOL provides non bandleaders with the opportunity to support the Association of Professional Orchestra Leaders, and receive some great benefits in return.

The APOL works year round promoting live, professional musical entertainment. Our activities include:

Publication and distribution of our free booklet, "How To Find The Perfect Band Or Musical Group" and this website.

Administering and funding The APOL Scholarship, which provides an exceptionally talented Chicago area college music student one each fall, and one each spring with a cash award.

Additionally, we hope to offer reduced fee or free performances to qualified agencies in the near future. Our current wish list, includes a permanent address for our association.

As a Friend Of The APOL, not only will you be supporting our programs, you will receive the following benefits:

· Professional courtesy when hiring APOL members. Discretionary discount per individual bandleader.

· Invitations to our social events. Dinner dance, golf outing, cultural nights, St. Patrick's Day luncheon.

· Invitations to two meetings per year: March and September.

· Special newsletter.

· Full tax deductibility. As allowed by law.
