Description: The Steve Cooper Orchestra is a 10 piece big band with female vocalist. We play the currently popular Swing-Jive-Jitterbug tunes, romantic ballads of George Gershwin & Cole Porter, hot Latin music like Mambo, Merengue, Salsa, Tango, Rhumba, Cha Cha, etc.. In addition the band plays authentic ballroom music like the Foxtrot, Quickstep, Waltzes & Polkas, music of Glenn Miller and other big bands and even old-time Dixieland and modern jazz. Steve was recently chosen to receive much of the actual music of The Lawrence Welk Orchestra, the most popular ballroom band of all-time. Steve has played over 3,000 weddings, 500 high society balls and even performed on The Oprah Winfrey Show when Oprah did a program about ballroom dancing. Small groups are also available for dinner & cocktail music.

Additional Comments: I can play almost any tune for jobbing in addition to sightreading. I also do symphonic and church services from time to time. The Chi-Town Dixie Stompers, The Swing Thing, The "E" Band
Description: The Chi-Town Dixie Stompers stroll, do dance music, or can do an interactive show starting as a trio and expanding to 8. All three members of the trio sing. The band also plays some cajun, zydeco and Chi-deco which is a new style they created. The Swing Thing is an 8 piece "new concept band" playing jump, swing, and blues with great vocals. It's a fun band that jams! The "E" Band is an "Exciting" "Excellent" "Entertaining" "Experience." The quartet is built around Ken E. who plays sax, clarinet, flute, sings and entertains. He is joined by bass, drums and guitar, also providing more vocals. The band is expandable to 9 and it jams! Musical styles are: Dance, Mood Music for dinner, cocktail or theme events including Swing, Jazz, Latin, Classical, Society, Light Rock, Dixieland and/or Smooth Jazz.

Additional Comments: We perform several different one-hour interactive shows. It's like Second City combined with a Jump, Swing, Funk, Disco, Blues, Alternative, Rock Act Band. Audiences love us. Also, a new style: BOW "Band On Wheels." It's fun, people love it, it's a band, it's an act! The "E Band On Wheels" jumps, swings, rocks, and keeps rolling.

Description: Frank "K" & Company is a wedding-type band consisting of lead and bass guitar, drums, sax, clarinet and violin, with Frank "K" on synthesizer, piano, Cordovox or accordion. The guitarist and the drummer are also excellent vocalists. Our group varies in size to accommodate your budget. Stroller(s) are also available for all types of occasions. The unique feature of Frank "K" & Company is the versatility of the band. Our group plays the 50s and 60s tunes, standards, Top 40 selections, dinner music and the ethnic-type songs.
